The Master of Science programme in Conflict & Development emphasizes field-based knowledge and the importance of listening directly to the voices of those in the Global South.

We therefore organize each year a study trip related to the course in 'Research Practice and Fieldwork', and encourage students to conduct field research for their Master’s thesis.

In the past, study trips were organized to Jordan, India, Uganda, Morocco, and the Philippines.

The study trips tend to be an intense, but valuable experience that allows students to connect “knowledge from the books” with the “world out there”.
