Academic Interests:

Cristina completed her Master's Degree in Anthropology with a dissertation on assisted citizenship of Azerbaijani Internally Displaced Persons from Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Cristina's current research project involves the study of state modernization process and formation of the middle class in urban Azerbaijan. Keywords: class identities, consumption and material culture, Visuak Anthropology, Post-Soviet transformations, South Caucasus.
